When you get this high up in the competition all of the goats are great quality animals. So what we looked for is an animal that incorporated as many of the best qualities as possible. Every animal here has great characteristics that they were particularly strong in such as length of body, muscling, depth of body, ect. So what you have to ask yourself is, "which animal exhibits all of these qualities... and more." Congratulations to all of the exhibitors with a goat in the champion drive; you have all done an excellent job with these goats. Our Grand today is a very large framed goat, you can see his muscle volume over his hooks to pins, and extending down through his leg. He stands wide from behind and as we work our way up he continues to carry that width over his top. A wether that has the overall style and balance that we were looking for today. The Reserve is a goat that has a lot of eye appeal, very level over his top, is a long bodied animal, and exhibits a lot of depth of body. When you look at these two goats both the Grand and Reserve are carrying a lot of overall muscle volume. They are very close pair and a very nice set of goats. Congratulations.

Any of the four bucks could stand in the championship drive of most shows. We selected the Senior Champion for Overall Champion. He is the heaviest stature buck in the class. He has good breed character and excels in total value of muscle. With his combination of breed character, bone and muscle he has to come to the top today. Though the Junior bucks may mature well we have to select the Senior Reserve for Overall Reserve.

The JR Div Champ is our winner with her obvious width and mass. She has exceptional breed character with deep jaw and stands well balance on all four corners. Wonderful heart girth and hair coat.
Sen Div Champ gets reserve as she has a stronger heart girth than the JR Div Res. She has a nice hip. Given the photo, it is difficult to compare her width to our overall champion doe. She does bring us good length and appears good on her feet.

All of the does in this runoff are quality does and their owners have obviously done a great job in their breeding program. For the champion I am going to use the Senior Division Champion. A large framed doe that when you look at her she has great style and balance. She is a deep bodied doe and has the overall muscle volume. She is a doe with a lot of length of body and the necessary femininity to her. Your reserve is going to be the Junior Division Champion doe. A doe that has a lot of muscle volume, you can see that muscle extend down through her lower leg. From the front view she is a very wide fronted doe, has a lot of depth of body to her, just a doe that is going to have a lot of size and scale to her. Thank you and congratulations.
